About the work

“One of the major obstacles the Palestinians  have been facing is the stringent restrictions on their free movement between areas of what became fragmented territory. The truncated legs are inspired by orthopedic prosthesis. I wanted the legs to portray  “determination” and the “will”  to  go on.“ Samira Badran
